The Department of Agriculture (DA), through the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAS) conducted the 1st Quarter Meeting at the DA Central Office in Diliman, Quezon City, on February 28, 2024. It aims to align activities for FY 2024, based on the department’s 3-year plan, and to prepare for the FY 2025 Plan and Budget Proposal.
In attendance were key officials, including Atty. Genevieve E. Velicaria-Guevarra, Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs, DLLO, and Consumer Affairs, and Dir. Junibert E. De Sagun of AMAS. Also present were regional representatives from AMAS-AISD and AMAD-AISS.
The primary objective of this meeting was to strategize and align efforts in support of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s initiative to strengthen the KADIWA program across regions.
“Sikapin nating itaguyod ang pag-push ng KADIWA ng Pangulo sa mga regions, at magkaroon ng mga KNP events sa mga probinsya nang twice a month.” Asec. Guevarra stated.
