The Department of Agriculture (DA) Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs, DLLO, and Consumer Affairs, and KADIWA program Head, Atty. Genevieve E. Velicaria-Guevarra, Special Assistant to the Secretary Daniel Atayde, and Agribusiness Marketing Assistance Service (AMAS) Director Junibert De Sagun , met with the President & CEO of Food Terminal Incorporated (FTI), Atty. Lara R. Brusola and VP for Operations, Emmanuel S. Bangui on Friday, March 1, 2024, to discuss plans for turning FTI in Taguig City into the main hub of KADIWA in Metro Manila.
During the inspection, officials toured the cold storage area, staging area, and parking area for food trucks to evaluate how they can accommodate the increased influx of agricultural produce and customers.
DA officials plan to launch the KADIWA hub at FTI in April.
