Participation to the OMEK 2019 was another move to explore other non traditional export markets. The event was fully supported by the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture.
About 6 companies were assisted showcasing different Philippine exportable products like coconut by-products like VCO, coconut chips, canned coco water, coco cream, coconut-based vinegar, coco and nipa sugar, coco-jelly, sweetened sugar palm fruit, cocoa-based products like hot chocolate tablets (Tableya)& champorado, coffee, tropical fruit-based juices/concentrates and jams, banana chips, potato chips, canned & pouch tuna.
A total of PhP 190,537,625.00 was reported sales under negotiation.
