The 10 exporters who joined in the event were: Auro Chocolate, Co Chocolat, Coco Dolce, Coscao Chocolate, Kablon Farms, Malagos Chocolate, MS3 Choco, NutraRich, Tablea Chocolate, and Theo and Philo. The Philippine Cacao Industry Council is also present in the Philippine pavilion. This is the first time that the DA organized the delegation to join the event. The International Cocoa Awarding ceremony was also held during SDU. Mr. Jose Saguban, a farmer from Paquibato Davao City was recognized as one of the producers of the Top 50 best cocoa bean samples in the world and eventually won the main award for the Top 20 best cacao beans in the world.
Total booked sales reported was Php 697,714.56 and sales under negotiations was Php513,299,304.00. Among the exhibitors, MS3 Agri-Ventures Corporation got the highest
combined reported sales in the amount of Php305,314,624.00 from their plain and flavored dark chocolates.
Her Excellency, Ambassador Theresa Lazaro graced the opening together with Undersecretary Waldo R. Carpio, as head of the Philippine delegation. The Philippine TV networks ABS-CBN and PTV4 had an interview with them as well as full coverage during the opening ceremonies.
